Homemade Hummus

I was a little nervous about making Hummus for the first time but it came out really well and it was really quick and simple. If you want to make Hummus at home instead of buying it in the store, check out the recipe below:

Give it a try and let me see your creations on social media by using the hashtag #veggiecurls

  • Servings: 2
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Print

• 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas (or soaked chickpeas/garbonzo beans)
• 1 tablespoon of tahini
• Juice of 1 lemon
• 1-2 cloves garlic, sliced
• Ground black pepper, salt, red pepper, paprika to taste
• 3 tablespoons of olive oil

Place all ingredients in food processor and process until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add a bit more lemon juice and/or olive oil.
